5 - Lights out
Once there were two college roommates that shared a small flat.

One night, one of the girls decided to spend the night at her boyfriend's, so she popped back to the flat to collect a few things. Not wanting to wake her friend, she didn't turn on the lights; she gathered her things and quietly crept out again.

The next morning she returned to her flat to find it full of police. She spoke to one of the officers and he told her that her roommate had been murdered last night around 11 o'clock. Puzzled, she replied that she had been in the flat then. The police officer turned white and led her into the bedroom. There on the wall, scrawled in blood, was a message from the murderer... "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the light..."
